PRNDL’s New Band
Howdy, we're Low Poly Cactus, a Los Angeles Jazz-funk-fusion band. We met at jams & gigs around town (and burning man)--we've stayed together for the funky friendship & overcooked memes.
We just released our debut album “LPC” with Birds of Paradise Records, all original music recorded live at Cactus world headquarters. The band draws from 70s fusion super groups, Return to Forever, Headhunters, Casiopea, as well as modern influences like Snarky Puppy, Knower, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Phish. We're gettin skronky, fonky, and bebop bonky.
Originally gathered for PRNDL (keys, producer) and Mahealane (trumpet, vocals)'s San Fernando Laser Tag album release party, the band continued to play more of the duo's music and as well as new tunes from the record.

Endless Pants
New PRNDL Electrofunk Album

PRNDL’s newest release on Birds of Paradise Records is an Electrofunk and Jazztronica odyssey including popular singles “Carla Croix” and “Local Reptile Convention”. The album features many of his talented friends, including his brother Sam.ro.chelle (who also made all the artwork and motion graphics associated with the album).
The album opens with the only “vocals” on the record, an experimental collage that serves as the title track. The project then runs through boundary-expanding jazz composition as well as head bumping funk grooves featuring PRNDL’s love for keyboards and Ableton as an instrument. The album ends with a solo piano ballad “Little Man”, a tribute to his cat Pants for whom the album is named.

Electrofunk Producer
Combining his background in jazz piano with an electronic production obsession (and a bit of absurdism), PRNDL started his artist career with the robo-call remix/revenge project Scam Likely, and followed with more genre-bending music released by record labels labels Chill Better Daily, Birds of Paradise, and Urban Waves. Solo releases and collaborations with trumpet-player/singer Mahealane have received Spotify editorial support on the Jazz-Funk, Jazz Vibes, Jazztronica, and Fresh Finds Jazz playlists across many releases.
PRNDL’s latest is Endless Pants, an album that simultaneously spans some of his most accessible and most experimental music to date. The album features a number of frequent collaborators, including a nod to the upcoming debut of his live band Low Poly Cactus.
Paper Idol
Delusional Pop, Plastic Spy Disco, Emotional Dance Music.
PRNDL is part of the electropop project Paper Idol, music directing the Band/DJ hybrid live show as Ableton/MIDI programmer for hard hitting dance parties with plenty room for improvisation.
The band has had a busy two years, featuring epic Bonnaroo, Outside Lands, and Hulaween festival appearances, among others bombastic shows across the country.
In addition to programming the live show, PRNDL has contributed as a producer and keyboardist to some Paper Idol favorites such as Tightrope, Clouds, Bright Side Baby, and the most recent single “The Morning”.
Pop Producer
PRNDL produces for a number of talented pop artists, working on original music as well as diving in on glitch-pop remixes. Some favorite releases have been with artists such WESLEY, Kiran + Nivi, Britta Raci and Goblynne’s iconic debut album “Hot! :(“ that runs from manic hyperpop through emotional indie ballads.
He also has produced over 100 instrumentals for the popular Kidz Bop franchise, honing production skills by studying the greatest producers of our time!
Keyboardist
You’ll see PRNDL having a blast around LA and out on tour with a rotating cast of funk, R&B, and rock bands as well as jamming with his favorite rhythm section, The Dream Collective, at their jazz-fusion residency at Lock & Key in KTown (every 4th Friday @ 8pm).
Some favorite shows have been with The Andy Lawrence Band, It’s Butter & Britta Raci, The Midnight Club, Niki J. Crawford, and The Puscie Jones Revue.
PRNDL regularly records as a session keyboardist, with credits including SonReal, Moonwalker, and Britta Raci.
