We're Low Poly Cactus
A Jazz-funk-fusion band of meme-loving musicians based in Los Angeles. Inspired by the legacy of fusion supergroups (Return to Forever, Snarky Puppy) and the playful funk of Vulfpeck, Low Poly Cactus focuses on memorable melodies, complex harmonies, and infectious grooves.
We recently released our debut album “LPC” with Birds of Paradise Records, all original music recorded live at Cactus world headquarters in Glendale, CA. Many of our tunes have debuted on several coveted editorial playlists including State of Jazz, Fresh Finds and Jazztronica. “Flying Thumbtacks” and other tracks on the album saw radio airplay by KSDS San Diego Jazz 88.3, KUVO Denver 89.3, CJRT JazzFM Toronto 91 and more.
